We provide comprehensive training for our guards on airport and terminal rules and regulations, including DR1 PANYNJ (AOA drivers) training. This covers proper ID checks, as well as the use of mirrors and vehicle searches before granting access to the aircraft operations area. Our guards are also trained to escort construction workers, contractors, and vendors in and out of the aircraft operations AOA area, Secure/SIDA, or Sterile Areas. Escorts are limited to a maximum of five people and two vehicles only. Additionally, our guards are instructed on identifying the correct PANYNJ PONYA plates and inspection tags, and they strictly adhere to speed limits: 20 mph on service roads, 10 mph around aircraft, and walking speed around passenger buses and jet bridges.
